New GST rules to apply to UBER starting 1 August, they must collect 10% GST on the services provided. The usual 75K threshold to be registered for GST won't apply to them. \UBER will argue on grounds that this is unfair, will be interesting if the decision by the ATO holds, it will have broader applications.
