I agree entirely with you on the pre-existing hatred, lrj. I agree that this war SHOULD be "a lesson to them". But will it be? The pre-existant hatred, imho, has increased and is increasing daily, thereby increasing the desire for those guys to commit 911-like acts against us. I agree that there is a necessity NOW to "bully" them into submission, and that there is no backing off. That would be even worse. Quite frankly, I have had conflicting emotions on this issue, and really dont profess to have a solution any more.
