Whichever diet you choose remember that it's all about consistency.
There's no "sneaky cheat days" where you break the diet it puts everything back to day 1.
A lot of foods also remain in your body much longer than on the plate one day in the bowl the next.
If you want to clean your body some foods take weeks or even months to leave your system.
It's not indifferent to giving up smoking in many respects.
