Let's see now. In the case of the former there was Turkey in 1915, then there was Afghanistan in 2001, and Iraq in 2003. Then there were all those dirty western campaigns in the 2 world wars. Whilst these were not attacks on Islamic nations as such there was still considerable collateral damage done to Islamic people and their nations. They had no say as we raged through North Africa...Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Moroco and Algeria. My Uncle, who was 17 at the time and is one of the last surviving "Rats of Tobruk" tells of how they chased the Italian army east to west across north African and then got chased back west to east by Germany's crack troops before making a stand for 241 days in Tobruk. And what of the charge by the Australian light horse in 1917 to take the town of Beersheba. This was a military campaign that has now ascended to ANZAC folklore. Poems have been written about that glorious ride. Can you imagine the squeals on HC if Islamic nations did that here. Let's say that Iran and Saudi Arabia were to bring their differences here down under and fought against each other killing, maiming and displacing many of us in the process. Do you think it would matter to us that we were just incidental to rather than the target of their hostilities??
.....and now let us discuss all the Islamic nations that have invaded Australia militarily. First there was.......umm.....there was........ (sound of crickets).......ummm???

Great how the reputation of the Australian armed forces kept the islamic nations from invading our shores for so long. They are here now all right. And growing. And the do-gooders would have their numbers exploding, given the chance again.
And remember a vote for labor is a vote for open borders.
