I suppose you would have been opposed to ATM's displacing bank teller workers as well? See the bigger picture. This is capitalism. A few thousand jobs is nothing. Australia employs what 12 million people? If you consider the damage to the economy from ensuring permanently low prices for the Chinese, the comparison is laughable.
