Just an FYI - it is Haram (forbidden) for Muslims to eat or drink with their left hand - that includes using cutlery with one's left hand to place food in the mouth - it is forbidden.

This is because Satan apparently ate and drank with his left hand - therefore, it is Haram to do the same. The right hand is reserved for heating. Further, the right hand is therefore not to be used after/during a call to nature - this is the job of the left hand.

So at that Halal restaurant, I wonder whether any of those diners were committing a sin whilst eating their Halal food?

I'm not sure what happens in a factory where food is prepared - maybe the left hand is tied behind the back.
