It's out of any retailers hands it's all broker action and taking out anyone who doesn't want play. Only way it will stop is when they have finished, and decide to push or an announcement that can drive it out of there hands.
But your guess on the why is as good as mine? Maybe accumulation, someone building a 20% stake.
But over the last 6 weeks 1/3 of the stock has changed hands and no notice.
