I bought into CGF a week ago.
My thesis is this.
(1) Selling Annuities in this low interest rate environment is difficult
(2) The US Fed will raise rates this year..........
(3) The historic gap between US Fed f10 yr rates and AUS 10 yr is 170 BP
It is currently 70BP
I see a move up in 10 yr SOMETIME...................and then annuities will be easier to sell
Why SP falling?
