They still feel guilty
They still feel that they have to be accepted
Yes they have all the legal rights but they want the same respect that proper married people have and they think that if they can use the term "married" they will have it
They are insecure and want the rest of us to booster their self confidence and then get more money, more rights, more of everything, just another cargo cult mentality
