If I was a director in the soon to be circumstances I wouldn't take up any.
I'd know that I would have a huge payday in 3 years time, a good salary meantime to get there, and with the new major shareholder collective behind me I wouldn't feel the need to somehow appease the rest.
Not meant as a go at anyone or anything, but simply stating what would be obvious to me.
