@moloch did you cover in your 2013 'chat' @Graphite point about the graphite market size/demand is currently say 1 million tonnes but half of that is Synthetic?
I know for years I've been 'banging on' in the threads in response especially to cut'n'pastes about batteries ev and stand alone 'asking' but does it say using Natural Flake Graphite? No just says Graphite will be tonnes, thousands of tonnes for this new demand.
I come back over the Years @Graphite trying to explain that the term Graphite is mostly used to describe SYNTHETIC. Same as the use of Carbon often has No connection to Natural Flake Graphite.

So yes @Graphite fully aware of the synthetic issue.@tylemahos however has an angle that it is Synthetic Refining in China in the various regions that causes most of their Pollution Problems. It's very Ecological Dirty Synthetic ,agree? but by classifying synthetic as graphite then the natural flake gets tarred with the same brush. TyleM has this line that it's a Trad House plot especially by Riddle of Asbury and I'm sure Graphite if you want to discuss further Synthetic as the Dominant Graphite tyle will be happy to oblige.

Personally I think there will be the 'invention' of a better, cleaner processing method for flake graphite. Some Canadian outfit,is it Tru something? is on this and I'm sure the Euros are too. No doubt the Dragon as well especially considering all these offtakes of 600kts are 'raw' for Value Adding in China.
The current crude, dirty but cheap Dragon production for the battery market will thus Maybe give the ROW my barbarians a more equal playing field on costs in Value Addingon Natural Flake? What do you reckon @Graphite?

just FYI I personally am holding No SuperPits proposing 200kts++ 2017 production. I see you are Euro Graphite Market and Euro Germany is where my 'picks' KNL and Talga [TLG] are going for 'penetration' so @ Graphite if you have the time or inclination we can swap attitudes and research on the Euro Market?
Yes the ASXers are coming to Europe to show that Lumberjack Flinders how it's done!!
