Did you ever visit Greece while it was under the Drachma?
Personally I come from a Greek heritage , Australian born of course , and I have been to Greece 10 times both under the Euro and Drachma , and I can tell you from experience that under the Drachma Greece was a better place, tourism was booming, In the short term Greece will be hurt by reverting back to the Drachma but in time it will regain its tourism dollar , currently being lost to Turkey and its competitiveness . Greece has been around for along time and has endured many atrocities on its soil namely 500 years of Ottoman scum!
