Or (and I know that this is a strange, weird, leftie idea) someone could own those homes and, y'know, actually live in them. Unless he was actually the driving force behind the construction of four brand new houses, chances are that in each case he used his few decades of advantage to outbid numerous hopeful first-home buyers, condemning them to years more of handing over their money to speculators like himself while struggling to scrape together enough for a deposit which, by the time they've saved it up, is no longer enough due to the rapid speculation-driven rise in prices. Talk about inter-generational theft...
