re: safenet up 9% friday It is very difficult to really understand the SEN product range and to understand what the competition are doing to develop their alternative to SEN product.

ATM and SONET are two different network standards.
The languages used and the the methods by which the networks are arranged are different.

ATM was released in late 90's
SONET was released in NOV 2004
ETHERNET now just released.

ATM is dying technology - no surprise to SEN. They have forecast the drop in demand.
