Just watched an interview on Channel 7 with the mine manager, who was attempting to explain to the waiting media how plans to rescue the 2 men were to be changed to another method.
Dear Richard Carleton was heard "loudly" to ask the mine manager that "wasn't it exploitation of the workers to force them to mine gold where there were obviously safety issues". The mine manager was clearly upset and asked the press to only refer to the immediate situation and the attpted rescue of the trapped men.
Maybe someone took exception to his totally improper question and snotted him one!
Regards,
Barry
