We already knew Philips was installing a 2nd test cartridge production line. Also that they have now stated they are bringing the production wholly In-House. This IMO in part is to minimise the 3rd party supplier issues like those the Meritas POC has suffered (quality control) that eventually led to FDA trial suspension. This was a truly bad setback with FDA trial enrolments not programed to resume until early this year, with their final (revised) sumbission delayed until at least August. On the back of that news their overall POC sales only grew by 2.8% OUCH.
