I think the key takeaway here is that herpes is a large and diverse family with a huge potential market. We're helping people, if we can make money a the same time why not?
EBV viruses is also starting to be implicated in more wide reaching problems as well, such as chronic fatigue (look it up).
A vaccine against on herpes virus will yield great insights into how to treat the rest of them.
