Not sure I follow your logic on ASX though. If the ASIC register is a already a monopoly, why would the ACCC care who buys it? Whether CPU, ASX, or XYZ company buys it... It's still a monopoly and is a different business to **promotion blocked**.
Happy to be corrected though, I'm no expert in competition law.
