    I looked at Europe awhile ago. Spent some time in France and compared supermarket prices here and at the supermarche. Wow, if you're a scotch drinker and a cheese eater you would be in heaven.

    The problem is, the world is moving fast.

    A poster on here awhile ago said that he and his wife were touring the Italian lakes district. He couldn't believe the number of African refugees begging and sleeping in the streets. I'm sure most of us saw the images of people trying to hop on trucks from Calais to get to the UK

    Even in Hungary, a place where  my parents had to get over a wall to get out in '56. Now the Hungarians are building walls to keep people out.

    I still think Asian beaches and great value for Australian money is still tops. Although I would prefer the Mediterranean coast line.
