I am regular poster and have always followed oil and gas. It has been a tough year but I have not lost faith because I believe in all the stocks I own. Times changes and with a very disturbed Middle East , anything could happen.

Two stocks , however , always troubled me. NXR which I foolishly chose due to an experienced posters' opinion. The second was from an over enthusiastic 'oiler' who was really just a gambler . It was OTE.

NXR went from 20 cents to about 0.8 cents. Iron ore. 500k of them. Not happy. Wrote them off..... Then suddenly they re-emerged as a sort of biotec security stock that as Forrestfield knows, could go ballistic. It has quickly climbed to 13 cents plus.

The second stock, OTE was purchased at 4 cents but it was just pathetic . So sold out 500k at 3 cents...... Then suddenly it got re-invented as an IT security stock. My mate held on and it has gone past 16 cents at times. That's a quick 5 bagger.

So , because my oil and gas stocks are languishing ( awaiting the Aussie gas revolution in Late 2015/ early 2016 when Gladstone gets properly revved up ), and because of this 'tech' revolution, I decided to have a look at some HC stocks that were common on the Latest Stocks column.

And today I came across VTX. Would not have a clue about it . But it has me sorely tempted particularly due to it 's potential and very well rounded commentaries on this site. And that includes ArticOP's post.

I think the world is in an exponential high tech phase with huge gains possible. But as ArticOP says "Don't get caught holding the parcel" . I am going to have a good think about this one and perhaps sell the stock I have least faith in.
