Deutsche Bank certainly bought some shares - yes, they did, only to be used as short selling.
Short selling is good, but I can't help thinking that it is an uneven playing field.
Those fund managers or whoever who let a broker borrow their stock for a fee, and suffer loses due to SP falling, are really, should I say, brainless? I mean, if you want to let people borrow your stock and short it, you should ask for a fee + a % in drop in price. Duh.
