Big deal most people with the ability to think for themselves do not believe every thing written in the press, regardless whose press it is.
Yes some of the Arad news may have been acting as nothing more than a mouth piece for Saddam but at the same time CNN, FOX and large parts of the western media have been operating as part of the propaganda machine of the US.
Anyone with half a brain would have doubted the claims made by Iraq about the airport and that they were forcing allied troops out of Baghdad just to mention 2 events.
But the Iraqis and Arab media have not had a monopoly on lies and bullsh!t when it comes to reporting events.
At the end of the day most people have enough common sense to work out what may be legitimate and what is crap but there are also those who are stupid enough to believe that every thing one side reports is fact while every thing reported by the other side is lies.
