Paying divvies is a small kick to shorters and for long term holders who don't continually monitor the price they simply want to keep getting dividends year in year out. Personally I think they should have halved the divvy. Also it gives AF some real money to play with. If he spent his entire dividend on more shares would SP do, just curious how much it would raise?
