U want to use words like "desperate". Desperate is what bill shorten looked trying to rush through gay marriage days after the Irish referendum when he was getting torched in the polls and without any consultation or thought about the bill.
If gay marriage is top of your and your party's agenda, no wonder labor nearly ruined our country.
