Greece can start the Drachma again, and provide a currency for it's own people to use.
But it will be virtually worthless outside of Greece.
But over time, if they are prudent and careful, with their tourism potential etc. they could once again become a reasonable country.
But there is no end in sight to any fiat currency, all of them eventually fail, and it is simply because governments spend more than they earn, and devalue the currency unit in the process. This continues until it's worthless.
