At least the plan to maintain US military and economic superiority is out in the open now. Europe Japan China the Arab states and Russia are aware of US intentions and will act defensively.
The first steps will be all parties acquiring larger nuclear weapons stockpiles and abandoning the US$ as the unit of international trade in favour of the Euro or gold dinar or a range of other currencies. The US will counter with repression and espionage then military action. This is not looking good at all.
