I note a bit of discussion occurred over the weekend claiming that results of the gas flow rates are expected out this week. Well hopefully for wells 1 and 2 but it would seem unlikely for the other wells
I thought it might be useful if we had a summary of the information supplied by the company to date.
Looking over the announcencements put out by Imp from 21st March until last Friday, you will see that the market was advised:
"Gas flow production rates will be announced at the time the wells are connected to the distribution network"
AND
That the dates production was expected to commence was:
Wells 1 & 2 - Mid to late April (later advice said early May)
Well 3 - Late May
Well 4 - Late May
Well 5 - Late May
Well 6 - Late May
Well 7 - Late May
Wells 8,9, & 10 - Drilling finished but no results given as yet on when and if any production will occur.
Also it was announced that the target depths drilled and the presence of natural gas depths for each well were as follows respectively:
Well 1 - (3811) (1107)
Well 2 - (3800) (1100)
Well 3 - (3342) (953)
Well 4 - (3350) (574)
Well 5 - (3467) (551)
Well 6 - (3518) (894)
Well 7 - (3602) (575)
Can anyone with experience in the oil and gas field give us an interpretation of what this means, and also advise the significance of the lower gas rate figures for wells 3,4,5,6 and 7.
