There is no point having two extremely expensive pseudo-aircraft carriers without having any fast jets to go with them. For the moment there are no UAVs to fit the role and even if there were some ..... there are unresolved issues with electronic jamming technology. Helicopters do not deliver the required deterrence or self defence capacity be it in the Persian Gulf or in the South China Sea.
