I agree with the sentiments of "don't kill the goose that lays the golden egg" and "you can't get blood from a stone". but Bougainville Copper is not a good example. As a stakeholder in PDN I hope they treat the "locals" better than BHP did in PNG. "Greed and ignorance" seem to be not confined to ANY ONE group of "some people", but ALL "types". Be careful that the"R' word doesn't follow your post.
