Ha. I was just throwing out some bait to hook someone but surprisingly no-one took it.

It's not an epic fail but it is an embarrassing stuff up any way you look at it. The stupidity of initially announcing the posting of the registration forms (what the??!) compounded by the lack of both research and industry experience that resulted in them not knowing what it was they were applying for. There are punters on Hotcopper that have highlighted the standard "bend over" clauses inherent in DOE funding contracts for wave energy. The idea that SHE management didn't know what they were doing pretty much sums up how green they are and how much they need to learn.

None of that takes anything away from the tech or its potential. I stress that point. Despite my criticism of this event you all might yet get rich on this in 15 years time. Might. But the skills of management need to match the quality of the technology.

if anyone on this forum was genuine, they would have raised a critical post (more diplomatic than mine), giving management a swift but polite kick up the backside, just to let them know the shareholders noticed. But astonishingly, that's not what occurred. Just cheerleading. Theres a time and a place for that - but a "return to sender" announcement isn't it.

That's why I threw out the bait. Seriously guys, do you really think the odd, well deserved critical post will sink the SP. Don't overestimate your influence! Get more from the forum by a bit of genuine analysis and discussion. At least you might learn something while you lose your money.
