Really what hope does the working bloke have?? Get elected into parliment and set yourselve up for life.
Classic example is David Oldfield, didn't make a speech, and was on a "celebrity" survivor series when his wife handed in his resignation letter. 2 terms, achived nothing, taxpayers pay for him for life.
Yep, life means life in parlimentary pensions.
