Sydney - Tuesday - May 16: (RWE Australian Business News) -
Orchid Capital Ltd (ASX code: ORC) is to become the lead investor in a
pre-IPO investment round of capital raising for Asia Gongyou (Holdings)
Pte Ltd, incorporated in Singapore, with operations in China.
Orchid plans to invest 2.2 million Singapore dollars (about
$A1.83 million) in Gongyou as a convertible loan that is part of
Gongyou's pre-IPO investment round to raise a total of $S5.4 million
($A4.48 million).
The balance of $S3.2 million will be taken up as convertible
loans to Gongyou by co-investors from various countries.
The investment agreement will take effect after Gongyou meets
several conditions precedent, including the transfer of the operating
assets of its subsidiary, Shandong Gongyou Group Co Ltd, to the
ownership of Gongyou.
Shandong Gongyou Group is a leading manufacturer of woodworking
machines in China and has a staff of more than 1000. It is one of the
largest companies in the city of Weihai, Shandong Province, China.

Net tangible asset backing of 2.98c. Directors have been buying this year - many.

Singapore based pharmaceuticals....mmm.

The Tibetan Copepr Project and the chaos afterwards might leave room here for an upcoming surprise.
