I don't think anyone questions what GK has done for NRT, and just hard he has worked. That much is beyond question.

My problem here is the way in which today's announcement was carried out. He has asked the shareholders for a lot of money not so long ago based on his vision, and we obliged believing that he would be there to follow it through. Sure he is just one man, but he is (or now was) a very important part of NRT and the only real public face of the company.

I don't really care whether or not there was an internal difference of opinion, or his ego was dented. Running a public company is not a schoolyard game - he can't just spit the dummy and resign "immediately".

Hope there will be good reason behind all of this, at which stage I will post a public apology to GK. But on the face of it, this is "just not cricket"...
