From my experience overall penny stocks have outperformed the blue chip stocks on a mean basis but on a median basis the penny stocks have underperformed, due to the high proportion of dog penny stocks out there.
Ie the few steller performing penny stocks have more than compensated for the higher proportion of dog penny stocks compared to the blue chips
The eternal question is where is the next penny 10 banger ?
