I have always believed that women have a very much bigger responsibility than they care to admit for many marriage and relationship failures.
It is a myth that so many relationships fail because the man fails in his duties or strays from the marital bed. Could it be that the reason many relationships fail is because the woman fails to fulfil her part of the relationship or marriage vows?
I know of many men who have had their children taken from them, their confidence crushed and their mental stability rocked by continual battering the woman in their life. I know of quite a few blokes who stray because their wife just will not "put out", they don't really want to but they are looking for the physical closeness that is now lacking.
I would never ever make excuses for men hitting women, but there are probably quite a few cases where men just retaliate physically against verbal abuse..
There are an awful lot of men and women who are just mentally unstable...when provoked they will lash out. There are also an awful lot that will use any means available to get their own way, including some sort of abuse.
I may be branded sexist, but I think we have serious problem now as are getting too many women is positions of authority, who will use their gender to force change when that change is not necessary.
That piece of work Gillard was the typical example of an out of control feminist in a position of authority...the misogyny speech though prepared by some one else was ridiculous and out of place in our Parliament.
