Patients, patches and profits, page-61

I caught a glimpse of a story on 60 minutes last night regarding a team of medical volunteers performing repairs on tiny hearts in Fiji, which prompted me to think, how wonderful it would be if our company contributed by donating our "holy grail" tissue to assist these volunteers provide first class medical care to those in need.

I'm not sure if they have been approached or participate already, however it would be a kind humanitarian gesture to support those less fortunate particularly when those medical volunteers receive no monetary compensation.

I appreciate our company is about building profits for its shareholders but along the way, I feel we have a duty and responsibility to help our fellow man, not to mention the amount of goodwill it would provide. I heard during the story that there was some 30 procedures which would be but a drop in the bucket and believe it would have no material impact on our bottom line.
