Leanne Dawn, Jobe Watson was not serially booed in the orchestrated manner that has been directed at Adam Goodes; nor were his team-mates and coaches!

I nevertheless agree that the manner in which the Sports Doping scandal was handled could hardly have been worse and that it's tragic that such a wonderful player and person has been so impacted by it.

But for his part, Adam Goodes has been a model sports person, an inspirational leader and proud champion for Aborigines. That's why he was chosen to be 'Australian of the Year'! Goodes has never operated outside the AFL's rules and has never done anything to bring the game into disrepute. Yet he has been targeted.

Well I think that's an appalling situation and I am disturbed to think that some of my fellow Australians think it's OK.
