gun control yes! but this is stupid!, page-2

I'm not generally in favour of guns but I do believe that the Sporting Shooters are, in general, a reasonable bunch. My teenage son went through a "mad on guns" phase so, in the hope that he would work it out of his system, I took him to our local Chapter of the SS (sorry Snooker) and they taught him to shoot. They were really friendly and took him under their wing. I suppose that's only to expected since from their point of view, they were gaining a new recruit. Still, I was impressed and yes, he did get it out of his syetm and is no longer interested in guns...

Bottom line, the anti-gun lobby does go a bit too far.
