On the contrary HoM, I'm expecting a solid, going to plan, quarter. I am optimistic because, firstly the pics posted by Spock show the floor of the pit is fully operational, and secondly the announcement after the slip that gold production during the Sept quarter will be unaffected. Everyone is focused on the slip. This is a distraction to the real task, that is to produce in excess of 75,000 of gold per year. The slip, while untimely, was always there. You can see by the pics supplied by Spock that they have sculptured the rest of the pit and left the SE corner to be managed in the course of mining. Red can now concentrate on the area of interest, where the ore is. I am confident, while it will be a challenge for some time to come, management will deal with the SE corner (and the slip) to produce the best outcome for shareholders.
As far as the earthquake is concerned, I knew Siana Mine was on a fault line. When I heard about the slip I googled for any seismic activity in the vicinity in the time period. The quake was strong enough to be news worthy. So psychic, no.
