Good try but we are singing from different books....not sure which one you are singing from...maybe 'What's to be done"? Nothing wrong with being an idealist....but history always works against you - as does human nature. There are rare exceptions - French revolution, America's war of independence, India's freedom struggle - that finally delivered. I'm just singing my knowledge of world history....and taking a common sense perspective of what has been achieved...and what could be achieved. So yes, America has badly lost the plot. And the only realistic solution is a military takeover. I have faith in their officers - that they would restore the constitution, fix some now endemic ills that have hobbled the country - economic, cultural, and criminal. And get the country back to the democratic masterpiece the founding fathers envisioned. A 3-4 year operation, at worst.
