I don't agree with killing the lion but he went through the correct channels, paid the money and did the deed. Animals are animals and we should not care for one more than an other simply because we think it's majestic, beautiful, "king of the jungle" or more important. That lion was 13 and wouldn't last much longer in the wild. He would have been challenged by a male and fought to the death or close to it. Nature is extremely cruel especially in the world of the lion but most of the nature documentaries filter all of that out now.
That lion died for $50k, how much did you pay for that intensively farmed chicken, pig or fish? How about that kangaroo in the pet food?
