Do you accept we can "manage" flu in humans as it now exists by having a flu shot.

Do you accept we have virtually eliminated polio/cholera etc it western world where vaccines & medication is available.

A mutant form of flu in humans derived from bird flu is no different.. it can be managed.

One way of managing it is with Relenza.
The mode of action of zanamivir does work agains all strains of flu includig H5N1....
