while the US is about to raise their interest rates, funds will flow towards USD. This will hit commodities in general and has already happened. Demand for copper is still there and growing albeit slower.

There will always be a place for AVB's copper. the swings in commodity prices will just means a fluctuating exchange rate to maintain competitiveness for exporting industries.

Market pricing itself for the announcement of IR increases and what will be interesting is what happens after it is official. USD can't stay this strong forever as it will start to hurt US competitiveness especially when many of their companies derive profit from overseas.
