Isn't it more rational to believe that evolution is more of a hit -and -miss type of process rather than a predetermined process which you seem to entertain ?

I doubt it; but I guess some may think it could be just one big experiment.

Nobody asked to come into existence, but we choose to exist because our loved ones give our lives meaning.
The non-existence of an imaginary figure(sky-daddy) does not take away any meaning whatsoever.
