hi aculed, elder's book - that you referred me to - is a beauty. he has a new edition (2014) out. if there was a way i'd have flicked you a pdf. a mate of mine trades forex and he has a similar method. i think that most technical traders work along the same lines, but i really like elder's tone. he is a little bare-bones and simplistic in his explanation of the indicators, so i would love to find a second book that can compliment it. i like to sit down and read about indicator, whilst applying them to real-time charts. its certainly not a science, but it is better than driving without any headlights. elder's book and charting software is all i am using for now. i have greatly reduced my trading. i often wonder if you have read the book yourself, as i remember you said a friend of yours recommended it to you. regards
