Gotta admit I find the whole SS notice thing VERY confusing around an issue like this. For example - say you owned a SS amount prior to the RI of 7% and then just took up your rights - do you need a new notice? The rules say you report on a 1% change but it didn't change by anything. Also - a 3B has already come out saying there are 2b on issue - do you immediately say you have dropped to 4% till the shares are allocated and then back to 8% when they are? Anyway - my interpretation is that you don't 'become aware' of any change until this process is over and you definately know the amount you own (did you take some, all or none) and did they actually issue all they said they would - until then I'm not sure you really know the answer. That still leaves the question that if your % holding doesn't change do you report anything? Nice problem to have if you are in this category of having this dilemma but none of the rules seem easy to understand to me.
FWIW their notice was a director one not a SS one so maybe they are just as confused?
