It is surreal in Sydney, you see these 3 bedder, 1 bathrooms in pretty shite locations (Western suburbs) selling for $1m. Just incredible stuff. I can't believe everyday Aussies have suddenly got that rich to afford this. Average FT wage what 70k? You got tax to pay, a a family to feed, bills to pay etc. $1m median? No way...
It's got here on the back of investor momentum not fundamentals imo. Aussies have won for so long on housing they don't realise you can lose. There will be a rude shock coming I think...
I truly think we are on the precipice now as banks tighten down on investors.
