Good morning folks.   I made a post last night following a presentation in Sydney of the Vonex platform and the alpha version of Oper8tor.. It was only 4 short sentences but was moderated as unlicensed investment advice - surprisingly I think, because I had only printed in text what anyone can read as my sentiment and holding disclosure appended to every post.

Not a worry.  What anyone elses' decision is regarding this stock is totally up to them.
OK, I have spoken to Brydie in the past and also to Angus and they are both open and forthcoming regarding the Vonex business and its potentials.   You can contact either of them and they will be happy to speak to you.  To me. it is pretty clear we have a first class management team looking after this company - which is evinced with the plaudits they have already won.

The conventional Vonex telco business alone is growing at an impressive rate.   I am not sure if the projection is a figure I can disclose, but those that follow this will keep score.   Anyways, I am not going to flash around figures, as these are adequately dealt with in the transcript of Angus' tech talk in Perth, recently posted on the Vonex FB page.   Suffice to say that the Vonex AMPT software, which allows any business to connect and configure its internal phone network in MINUTES to a cloud-based PBX host, is a sought-after technology in its own right.   It is a key differentiator and is driving Vonex ahead in leaps and bounds.   You can view a training demo video of Angus configuring a system on the Vonex website. @allroad746 has first hand familiarity with AMPT and has only said good things about it.

Moving on to Oper8tor.  If this is alpha I have to say it is pretty slick.   No flies on this.   It works and works well, and is being used inhouse daily and damn it is versatile.   So why isn't it out now?   Coding is still being done allowing it to link with some other platforms and that is laborious.   As you will appreciate, this is not a company that will role this product out with any bugs.  Those that have suggested 6 months are pretty much on the money.  By end of year, certainly January is the word.

I watched and have experienced the Call Blast function and it is pretty amazing.   You can call copper or mobile phones and ANY internet connected device that has a speaker and mic.  This would include many of the new TV sets.  Any device that you have configured into the Vonex contact list will ring simultaneously.  You can answer on any device and seamlessly switch to any other device with zero latency.   So pick up on the mobile (which would cost the caller - as in Skype out) and move the call to your web softphone, messenger, skype whatever is open - cutting the ongoing minute cost back to zero.
You can also make and receive calls within your web browser.  So you can add a call button to your webpage.  That is going to be a very attractive feature for business.  Now, my expectations were that anything running through a laptop PC or tablet speaker would sound tinny and crap.   What I got blew my socks off.  The sound even from those tiny, tiny speakers was clear and S-Wee-T.   It was as good or better than any phone and just crystal clear without any judder or static.   Vonex have the coding down so well that you can use any laptop or tablet as your defacto phone - and I don't mean by stooping over the microphone.   The sensitivity of this thing was ably demonstrated when Angus walked an easy 20 feet away and could hold and hear a conversation from his device - and that was with muzak blaring in the background.  Totally impressed by this.

Angus has an Apple watch which you may have seen in pictures.   He showed me that below the display he was monitoring the AWD web price- a feature which may be pretty standard stuff.   So I said, Oh I guess that the watch will tell you if you have a phone or message coming through on your phone?   That's when he mentioned Dick Tracy.   Yep, it's a Dick Tracy watch and Oper8tor will let you make and receive calls - which he demonstrated.   He spoke to the watch and instructed it to call his wife, which it did - amazing.   I don't know if it has a dialing function (maybe too small) but it certainly works with voice instruction.   Now, the watch has an uber tiny speaker so that was not as loud as the laptop and we were then in a noisy environment, but he said it is quite adequate in an office or taxi, for example.   So Oper8tor is as yet the only known platform that will allow you to make and receive calls from Apple or Android watches.

Disruptive?  Yes. But Oper8tor is not, as some assume,  about putting other players out of business.  It is not intended to bring down Skype or its ilk, and there are reasons why they will actually welcome Oper8tor to cross-link their platforms.   I am going to leave that explanation for the company to disclose in greater detail,  after they finalise the acquisition transaction.

Takeover target?   You bet.   Oper8tor has got such strong standout earning potential and is so disruptive that it may well be the apple of somebodies eye - the potential contenders are endless and the prize astronomical.  First target though, is to hit market and go viral.

Where will that will leave Vonex?  - A cashed up thriving and fast growing telco in its own right - that will be worth owning a part of.

As word gets out over the coming days a certain amount of excitement can be expected.   What that does to the SP is anyone's guess.
Bon voyage ......or bon Vonex as the case may be.
