Hi Phantom, I felt the need to comment on a couple of points in your post.
1. From your comments ("med-tech"), it appears that you are seeing this as a new hearing-aid. This product is not a hearing aid, but an in-ear wearable technology that provides far more than hearing-aid functionality.
2. The timeline for product launch is not in terms of years, but months. Second to last line in this announcement: "We look forward to working closely with Curtin to develop the Nuheara prototype ear-buds in advance of their launch in early 2016".

I am sold on this one and see this as a valuable part of my portfolio for the medium to long term. (All IMO of course)
