Ravishankaray, have you forgotten those values which define us as Australians?

Please re-read your own post and think hard about how people concerned about civil liberties and our democracy might respond to it.

Australia is not under siege and partly thanks to John Howard we're not a gun-toting society. There is NO justification for militaristic interventions into civil Australia and those who have lost their moral compasses and who are trying to take us down that path would do well to read what happened on the Victorian goldfields in the 1850s.
